Ball Mill Liner

The rolling process to produce ball mill liner includes the following production steps:

(1) smelting, the scrap material into the medium frequency electric furnace for smelting, smelting temperature: 1600-1630℃;

(2) Ingredients: Sample and test the molten steel in the medium-frequency electric furnace to detect the content of each element in the molten steel, and configure a certain amount of trace elements in the molten steel until the weight percentage of each element in the molten steel meets the following requirements: C 0.30 0.35%, Mn0.90-1.2%, Si 0.90 1.2%, 1.0 1.2% Ni, Cr, Mo 0.20 0.90 1.2% percentage points to 0.3%, S 0.025% or less, P acuities were 0.025% and 0.5 1.5% Cu and Re 0.1-0.2%, the allowance is Fe;

(3) Metamorphic treatment: the modifier is wrapped with iron sheet or tin foil and placed at the bottom of ladle, and the molten steel that meets the requirement of element ratio is metamorphic treatment, and the metamorphic temperature is 1600-1630℃;

(4) Casting billet: the modified molten steel is poured into the billet at the pouring temperature of 1560-1580℃;

(5) Rolling, when the surface temperature of the billet is reduced to 850-950℃, the rolling mill is used to roll the billet into steel bars, and the cross section of the steel bar is the same as that of the ball mill liner plate to be formed;

(6) Cutting: using an automatic cutting machine to cut the blank parts whose length and end shape are the same as that of the ball mill lining plate to be formed;

(7) Grinding, grinding of each end face and corner of the blank parts cut and formed;

(8) Heat treatment: put the polished ball mill liner into the heating furnace, temperature rise to 1000-1050℃, and hold heat for 5-6 hours; Then quenching in the pool for 2-3 hours; Then put the ball mill liner back to the heating furnace, tempering at 200-250℃ for 2-3 hours, and then cooling it naturally in the heating furnace.
