Centrifugal casting is suitable for the production of large diameter cast iron pipes, cylinder sleeve, copper sleeve, bimetal bearings, as well as heat resistant steel roller road, seamless pipe billet of special steel, paper drying cylinder and other castings.
Centrifugal casting is a casting method that pours liquid metal into a rotating casting type, fills it up and solidifies it into castings by centrifugal force. This method not only has the good effect of metal shrinkage, but also has the dense casting tissue and has high mechanical and physical properties. The application range of centrifugal casting is wide, mainly including:
Large diameter cast iron pipes: Centrifugal casting is suitable for producing large diameter cast iron pipes, such as water pipes and gas pipes, ranging from a minimum of 75 mm to a maximum of 3000 mm.
Cylinder sleeves and copper sleeves: Centrifugal casting is also suitable for producing cylinder sleeves and copper sleeves, which usually require better sealing and durability.
Bisetallic bearings: bimetallic bearings can be produced by centrifugal casting, which combine the advantages of two or more different materials and have better mechanical properties.
Seamless tubes for heat resistant steel rollers and special steel: Centrifugal casting is also suitable for producing seamless tubes for heat resistant steel rollers and special steel, which are usually used in high temperature or high pressure environments.
Paper drying cylinder: in the paper industry, centrifugal casting is also used in the production of paper drying cylinder, which is an important part of the paper machine, the material strength and corrosion resistance has high requirements.
In addition, centrifugal casting can also produce other complex castings such as double-layer steel rolls that require different components in the inner and outer layers. This method achieves the accurate molding and high performance requirements of the casting by controlling the rotation speed of the casting and the pouring method of the liquid metal
