Effect Of Laser Shock On The Service Life Of Heat-resistant Steel

May 27, 2024

The heat-resistant steel sample was strengthened by laser shock through 00Cr12, and then it was placed at 25, 400, 500 and 600 degrees Celsius for fatigue tensile test, and the mechanical properties of heat-resistant steel samples were tested at different temperatures. The fatigue safety life was estimated and compared by unilateral tolerance factor method and two-dimensional weibull distribution method, and it was found that the yield strength and elastic modulus of the sample after laser intensification were significantly improved, and increased with the increase of temperature. Temperature has a great influence on the life of heat-resistant steel, and the fatigue life decreases significantly with the increase of temperature. Laser technology is generally accepted in recent years to improve the fretting fatigue resistance of materials under normal temperature conditions the most effective way.
