The expanded untwisted roving has the high strength of continuous long fiber and the fluffy nature of short fiber. It is a kind of material with high temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high air volume and high filtration efficiency. Some fibers of the expanded untwisted roving swell into a single filament state, so it can also improve the surface quality of the extrusion forming products.(FRP HV fan)
At present, expanded roving has been widely used at home and abroad, warp and weft for decoration or industrial weaving, can also be used in the production of friction, insulation, protection or sealing materials. The performance requirements of glass fiber roving for extrusion are: (1) no overhang; (2) uniform fiber tension; (3) good bundle formation; (4) good wear resistance; (5) less broken ends, not easy to lift; (6) good infiltration, fast resin immersion rate; (7) high strength and stiffness.
