According to the Estonian Bureau of Statistics, the cargo volume of Estonian ports in May 2024 was about 1.8 million tons, down 13.7 percent year on year. Among them, the loading capacity of cargo was 1.05 million tons, down 18.3% year on year, and the unloading volume of cargo was 708,000 tons, down 5.9% year on year. In the first five months of this year, Estonian ports handled 9.5 million tons of cargo, of which about 6 million tons were loaded and nearly 3.5 million tons were unloaded.
