
Argentina's economy, plagued by deep structural problems, is expected to fall by 3.5 percent in 2024, down more than 6 percentage points from its previous forecast of 2.7 percent growth, according to the World Bank's latest Global Economic Outlook report. By comparison, expectations for 2025 have improved, with the World Bank expecting Argentina to achieve a 5% recovery, surpassing its January forecast of 3.2%.
