High-quality wear-resistant hammer heads are often made of high-chromium cast iron matching alloys.
At present, the most commonly used material for wear-resistant hammer heads is high-chromium cast iron. High-chromium alloy hammer heads have the highest hardness and are a high-quality wear-resistant material. They are widely used in hammer crushers. After heat treatment, the hardness of high-chromium cast iron can reach more than 58HRC. The matrix is high-hardness martensite and the structure contains a large amount of high-hardness carbide M7C3. It is considered an ideal wear-resistant material for crusher hammer heads. The structure and performance of the wear-resistant hammer head mainly depend on the content of chromium, carbon, and manganese. Since the affinity of carbon and chromium is greater than the affinity of iron and carbon, a series of stable ferrochromium compounds are formed.
High chromium alloy is a wear-resistant material with excellent anti-wear properties, but its toughness is low and it is prone to brittle fracture. In order to ensure the safe operation of the high-chromium wear-resistant hammer head, a composite hammer head structure is generally used. One is to use a large-area hammer handle to support the high-chromium hammer head, and the toughness of the hammer handle supports the huge impact force during the crushing process. One is the double-liquid thermal composite hammer head. This material uses different optimized combinations of chromium, molybdenum, copper, nickel, vanadium, titanium and other alloys and a rigorous and unique production process. It combines the excellent wear resistance and high temperature resistance of high-chromium alloy casting. Oxygen resistance, thermal fatigue resistance (or corrosion resistance) are integrated with the good toughness and processability of cast steel, and it has excellent wear resistance and impact resistance that are difficult to achieve with a single metal material.
Key points for making high-quality wear-resistant hammer heads:
1. Think from the customer's perspective, analyze the composition and silicon content of the materials to be crushed, and adjust the alloy ratio so that each hammer head is customized for the customer; our company's slogan is: Only the right one, That's what's useful.
2. Our company has lost foam casting hammer head technology and has strict quality control of finished products to ensure that every hammer head delivered to you is qualified and its holes, grooves and surfaces have been cleaned, saving installation time. , while reducing labor costs.
Strict heat treatment process for wear-resistant hammer head
Our company's wear-resistant hammer head undergoes strict heat treatment. It is heated to 1100℃ and kept warm before being released from the furnace. After chemical treatment with alloy quenching liquid (the hardness is greatly increased), it is then subjected to low-temperature tempering at 600℃, and then air-cooled after being discharged from the furnace. The hardness can reach over 60HRC. The process is mature. , we have very high requirements on the hardness and toughness of the hammer head, and it is our mission to be responsible to our customers.
