Carbon steel to welding bending head
The butt welding elbow is a steel hot pressed or forged elbow, its connection form is directly welding the elbow and steel pipe.
The main manufacturing standards for butt welding bends are generally GB / T13401-2005, GB / T12459-2005, ASME B16.9, SH3409, HG / T21635, HG / T21631, SY / T0510, GB / T10752-1995.
Classification of welding bending head
(1) The butt welding bend is divided according to its radius of curvature, which can be divided into long radius and short radius. The radius of curvature of the long radius is equal to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe, namely R=1.5D. The radius of curvature of the short radius is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, namely R=1D. Where D is the diameter of the opposite weld elbow and R is the radius of curvature. If there is no special description, the 1.5D elbow is generally used.
(2) By pressure level, there are about 17 pipes, the same as the United States, including: Sch 5s, Sch10s, Sch 10, Sch 20, Sch 30, Sch40s, STD, Sch 40, Sch 60, Sch80s, XS; Sch 80, Sch100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, XXS, the most commonly used are STD and XS.
(3) According to the Angle of the elbow, there are 45 degrees of welding elbow, 90 degrees of welding elbow and 180 degrees of welding elbow and other different angles.
(4) Materials are: carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.
