1. Boiler grate material type and characteristics
Boiler grate is a very important part in the boiler, and the choice of its material directly affects the service life, safety and economic benefits of the boiler. Common boiler and grate materials mainly include:
1. Cast steel grate: cast steel grate has the characteristics of high strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics, suitable for high pressure, high temperature, large boilers.
2. Grey cast iron grate: grey cast iron grate has good heat resistance, wear and processability, suitable for small and medium-sized boilers.
3. Refractory grate: refractory grate has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, good heat and shock resistance and so on, suitable for high temperature or high temperature cooling cycle boiler.
4. Stainless steel grate: stainless steel grate has the characteristics of good corrosion resistance, easy to clean and other characteristics, suitable for boilers with high material requirements.
2. The grate material performance needs to meet the following aspects
1. Heat resistance: the boiler grate is often in a high temperature environment at work, so the heat resistance of the material is an important factor to consider.
2. Anti-corrosion resistance: the working environment of the boiler is complex, often exposed to high temperature and high pressure corrosive gas, so the boiler grate material should have a good corrosion resistance.
3. Anti-wear performance: the surface of the grate is often worn by friction such as particles and ash, so the anti-wear performance of the material is also a factor that needs to be considered.
3. Different types of boiler grate material application scenarios
1. Cast steel grate for high pressure, high temperature and large boilers are recommended to ensure high temperature resistance, high strength and corrosion resistance.
2. It is recommended to choose grey cast iron grate for small and medium-sized boilers to ensure wear resistance, good workability, low cost and other performance.
3. For boilers that need to be used under high temperature cooling cycle conditions, it is recommended to choose refractory grate.
4. For high material requirements, the need to often clean the boilers, it is recommended to choose stainless steel grate.
To sum up, the selection of boiler grate material needs to comprehensively consider the boiler operating environment, working condition and use cost and other factors. Only the reasonable selection of material, can make the boiler long-term stable operation, to ensure its safety and economic benefits.
