Method of production made from ceramic paste. The ceramic slurry is made of ethyl silicate hydrolysate and fine refractory sand with pure texture and high thermal stability, such as electric lava quartz, zircon, corundum, etc. In order to make the ceramic paste glue in a short time, calcium hydroxide or magnesium oxide is often added as the catalyst. Because of the ingredients used and its appearance are similar, so it is called the ceramic type. Ceramic casting is a new process developed on the ordinary basis. There are two types of ceramic type: ① ceramic type is all made by ceramic grouting. The production process is the first fixed on the plate, the coat sand box, and then the adjusted ceramic slurry into the sand box, to harden the mold, after high temperature roasting is to become cast.② Using the bushing, in the gap between the bushing and the appearance of the ceramic slurry for casting. Bushing can be used in sand type, but also available. Irrigation of ceramic shell with bushing can save a lot of ceramic slurry and can be used more in production. Ceramic castings can reach Ra 10 ~ 1.25 microns, up to 3~5 levels, can achieve the purpose. Ceramic casting has a short production cycle and a high metal utilization rate. The largest casting can reach more than ten tons, mainly used for casting large thick wall precision casting and casting single small batch of punching, forging, plastic mold, die casting, glass mold and other molds. The service life of the ceramic casting mold is comparable to that of the mold made by method, while the manufacturing cost is lower than that made by machining method.
