The main uses of alumina ceramic pipes


1.Because the Vickers hardness of ceramic layer in ceramic composite pipe is 1450-1600HV, the wear resistance is very good. Therefore, it can be widely used in tailings transportation and blast furnace pulverized coal pipeline with serious wear.


2. Because the ceramic layer of ceramic composite pipe is a neutral material, in addition to wear resistance, it also has strong acid, alkali and salt corrosion resistance, so it can be used for ash discharge and slag removal in power plants and pulp conveying in smelting plants (such as aluminum plants).


3.Due to its high-temperature resistance (-50 to 900°C) and impact resistance, ceramic composite pipes are suitable for conveying pipelines of petroleum cracking gas, medium-temperature shift gases from ammonia synthesis, synthetic rubber production gases, molten aluminum, and salt heat carriers. They are also ideal for conveying pipelines of high-temperature corrosive gases and liquids, corrosive substances containing solid particles, and sulfur-containing geothermal water.


Precautions for alumina ceramic straight pipe elbow tee


1. The metal-ceramic composite pipe has high hardness and good toughness, but it should be handled gently during handling and installation to avoid serious collision, especially to avoid direct contact or impact of metal instruments on the end face of the ceramic layer.


2. When installing the pipeline, the center line of the pipeline should be aligned, and the height should be adjusted to ensure that the two ends are accurate, and the displacement between the two ends should be controlled within 1.0mm.


3. When the flexible pipe sleeve is used to connect and install the pipeline, the insertion length of both ends of the flexible pipe sleeve should be adjusted symmetrically. Since the thermal expansion coefficient of composite pipe is about 1/3 of that of steel, the expansion gap can be reduced to 3- -5mm.


4. When using flange connection, the end face of the flange shall be aligned with the end face of the composite pipe.


5. Because of the excellent welding performance of composite pipe, the pipeline connection method adopts welding mode. In welding, the bevel is 70-90, the blunt edge is 2-4mm, no gap is left, and it is advisable to use small current welding.
