Wear resistance: The surface hardness of the high manganese steel liner can be enhanced through work hardening from HRC 20-25 to above HRC 40, demonstrating excellent wear resistance.

Service life: In medium and small-sized ball mills, the service life is approximately 5,000 - 6,000 hours. However, due to its significant deformation, it has gradually been replaced by modified high manganese steel and bainitic forged liners.
